Privacy Information

College of the North Atlantic is committed to protecting the privacy of employees and students in compliance with the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 (ATIPP Act. 2015). Your personal information (name, college email account) will be used for accessing the online training courses offered by Linkedin Learning and for administrative reporting purposes of overall participation.

Users do not need to have a personal LinkedIn account to access LinkedIn Learning, and if users do have a personal LinkedIn account, they are not required to connect it to their LinkedIn Learning account. Users will be given the option of merging their CNA LinkedIn Learning account with their personal LinkedIn account (or given the option to create a personal LinkedIn account and link it). This is not a required step and can be declined. You have the option of adding completed courses to your LinkedIn profile, or sharing courses with your LinkedIn network, but again, these are not required.

Please note that LinkedIn Learning services are a third party service and not managed by College of the North Atlantic. When using this service you are no longer within the CNA system and as such are subject to the LinkedIn Learning privacy policy and terms of use. For more details on privacy settings within LinkedIn, please visit the LinkedIn help page: Understanding Your Privacy Settings .
